Palm Beach Equestrian Center in Wellington, Florida-Feb 2010 Photos
I attended this event last year and promised myself to return again in 2010 and now that I have been there this year, I will return quite a few more times!
If you have never been to an equestrian event, this is the one you should attend. As it is explained on their website:
"The 120-acre Palm Beach International Equestrian Club was built specifically to house the Winter Equestrian Festival, what is now the nation's largest and richest grand prix jumping event. Because of the Festival, West Palm Beach is regarded as as the show jumping capital of the United States, drawing Olympic equestrian athletes from around the world."
The sheer beauty of the horses in mid-air is something you just have to experience in person. In speaking with one of the riders, she estimated that most of the horses are worth somewhere in the six figure range (and I complain about the cost of a new motorcycle-never again!)
Spread throughout the venue were many vendors offering a wide selection of items, from artwork to saddles. There is also some great food available on the grounds of the Equestrian Center.
If you would like to attend this event which continues until April 4th, 2010, follow this link to the Palm Beach Equestrian Center.
A special thanks to Jennifer and all the other Staff members for giving me free reign as a photographer.
As with any of my galleries, feel free to copy the photos for your personal use. Due to recent abuse of my photo policy, If you add them to any social website (Facebook, Twitter, my Space, etc), limit it to a maximum of 5 photos and give credit to NitrosDigital.com with a link back to my site.
